Job Overview:
As an Advertising Sales Representative for WhiteCell Technologies, you will be responsible for finding out who controls advertising budgets in target organizations and persuading clients to buy our advertising space/time for our installed locations on our germ-reducing handles for public transportation. A prospective candidate should be able to successfully convey the benefits of advertising with us and our mission as a company to provide cleaner public transit and how their business associates with that mission when partnered with us.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Research and find clients with largest potential to purchase advertising space on public transit in each city
- Find out who controls advertising budget/marketing campaigns in target organizations and reach out to them
- Persuade prospective clients to buy our advertising space in select locations
- Effectively convey the WhiteCell Advertising mission where the client benefits by both the advertising exposure and association with a brand that emphasizes for public health
- Assist customers with basic ad layout and design from ad specifications
- Nurture relationships with active clients to encourage multiple contracts per client
Preferred Qualifications:
- 12 months sales representative experience in a startup environment
- 12 months experience in advertising sales or advertising related marketing
- Extracurricular experience in advertising, marketing, sales or business
- High school diploma equivalent or higher
- Flexibility in varying sales demographics
- Motivated and fast-paced to assist in rapid expansion to multiple cities
- Professional and entrepreneurial spirit
- Ability to overcome obstacles and excel under pressure with sales deadlines
- A strong understanding of technology and its role in advertising
- Strong customer relationship skills
